Advancing and optimizing value-based care
The Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network Clinical Excellence division is dedicated to advancing and improving value-based patient care while supporting our providers in delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
We work across the Beth Israel Lahey Health system to improve quality, follow evidence-based guidelines, and improve clinical outcomes for our patients. We partner with primary care and specialty care teams in our hospitals and post-acute and ambulatory facilities to develop and evaluate value-based care strategies that improve the health of our patient population.
Performance-improving partnerships
We have strong partnerships with providers and care teams throughout the Beth Israel Lahey Health system. Our job is to leverage their expertise and input to design, implement, and analyze population health management strategies that help make our patients and communities healthier.
We take pride in being able to equip our providers with a platform to share best practices and educational resources as well as to deliver advocacy and representation.

Data-driven performance
By leveraging the latest technology and informatics, we act on concrete data to fuel new ideas and innovations in population health management. By utilizing an informed and data-driven approach, the Clinical Excellence team can focus on the care of patients with complex needs, support providers in following evidence-based guidelines, and partner with providers so they can achieve superior clinical and efficiency outcomes.
